The holidays are my favorite time of year because I get to spend time with my loved ones that I don’t get to see on a daily basis. Holidays truly do bring families together and the next upcoming holiday is Easter and we’re hosting at our house this year. I love to host gatherings at my home but when it comes down to what to feast on for our family gathering it gets a bit stressful. Do I want to head to the store and buy a frozen turkey or ham that I need to slave over a stove all day to cook? Do I want to buy premade sides, or make my own sides for this Feast? How long is it going to take to make a whole pot of potatoes? These are the questions I ask myself every Holiday.
Let’s be honest, it’s no fun to sit in a kitchen all day slaving over a hot stove! The holidays are about spending time with your parents, in laws, significant other, children, grandparents and more. Plus when you slave over a hot stove all day you’re left with a huge pile of dishes by the end of the evening. This year I’m playing it smart and will be ordering my Ham, Turkey and side dishes from my local HoneyBaked Ham. By the way did you know Easter is coming early this year and it’ll be on Sunday, April 5th?
Another thing I look forward to with the holidays is the delicious, HoneyBaked Ham to enjoy. I only get it a few times a year so I have to make the most of it when it comes around. I headed to my local HoneyBaked Ham location that was about 10 minutes from me and browsed around at all the yummy selections. I spoke with the cashier and told him my budget, my wants and my needs and he helped me out with the rest. I decided to go with the HoneyBaked Ham Small Holiday family feast for a total of $77.00. Since this Easter we’ll be having a more intimate gathering this package was plenty of food! Plus right now they have a great $5.00 off any $50 purchase coupon available to make the spending even better.
The HoneyBaked Ham Small Holiday Family Feast we chose came with:
- Mini HoneyBaked Ham (Serves 6-8 People)
- Whole HoneyBaked Turkey (Serves 8-10 People)
- 3 Delicious Sides
- Mashed Potatoes
- Creamy Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
- Stuffing
These packages are completely customizable. The whole package came to a total of $67 but I opted to pay $10 more to get a whole Turkey instead of a half turkey just to have more meat for the family. Best part of all is that Honey Baked ham doesn’t charge tax so my total out the door was $77 dollars, pretty cool right?
By skipping the entire cooking process and shopping for my entire feast at my local HoneyBaked Ham I was actually able to play with the kids and spend time with my entire family. No running back and forth to the kitchen to check on food. This is the only way Easter should be celebrated this year. No hassle, no stress and just pure joy of family.
I was a bit hesitant to head into my local HoneyBaked Ham with my 2 kids in tow but the entire process from walking in, checking out and back to my car took about 7 minutes. Talk about nice. My experience with my HoneyBaked Ham in Huntington Beach, CA was amazing and exceeded my expectations. I grabbed my bags and headed home. The next day we had our family coming over for an early Easter celebration and all I had to do was remove the ham and turkey from the fridge and place on a platter, heat up the 3 side dishes in the microwave and tossed the King’s Hawaiian Rolls I picked up in a bowl. That’s it Dinner was ready to go and it was all so delicious. I took out the hassle and stress of cooking all day in the kitchen and was able to enjoy time with my loved ones. So with Easter right around the corner be sure to visit your local HoneyBaked Ham and check out their delicious meal selections. To find a HoneyBaked Ham location near you just head over here.
