Cheesy Gouda Grilled Cheese

One of my fondest memories growing up was having grilled cheese sandwiches with my brothers. It was always a delicious lunch or dinner option and was fun to create our own sandwiches. Now that I’m grown and have kids of my own I still love to have my grilled cheese sandwich with a few delicious additions of course. My kids, being kids of course love grilled cheese too and I can easily say we have it at least 2 times a week in our house. Sure we could continue to have the same old grilled cheese or we could jazz up our grilled cheese with some delicious Eureka! bread and some Arla Dofino Gouda cheese.

It’s time to spice up those basic white bread and yellow cheese versions to something more grown up that even the kiddos will love. Did you know April is national Grilled Cheese month? This means it’s time to celebrate, yey! I’m celebrating by using some delicious products from Eureka! And Arla Dofino. I chose to use Arla Dofino cheese for the heart of my sandwich because it’s free of added hormones, artificial flavors and preservatives as well as crafted with quality, natural ingredients.

What you need:
• 2 Pieces of Eureka! Bread in Saaa-Wheat
• 2 slices of Arla Dofino Gouda Cheese
• Butter
• Panini Press

Grab your Panini press and plug in and allow to heat until the green ready button is available. Grab your 2 pieces of Eureka! Bread and place butter on one side of each piece.  Place one slice of bread butter side down onto your Panini press and top with your freshly sliced Arla Dofino Gouda Cheese. Now grab your other piece of bread and place it on top of the cheese and firmly press down. Allow it to cook for about 3 minutes until you’re happy with the results.  This is such an amazing grilled cheese and even the kids loved it and were asking for more.

Arla Dofino can be found in the deli section of your local retailer instead of the dairy section. Choose from a delicious Havarti Cheese or a Gouda Cheese like I picked. Eureka! Bread can be found at your local grocery chain and is available in Grainiac, Saaa-Wheat and Seeds The Day.
