When it comes to glitter, I am Obsessed! I love to make things sparkle with glitter and I especially love the color gold. I was going to be working on an adorable Family Photo display on my mantle and I wanted to jazz up the display. I decided on using clothespins but of course plain clothespins are just plain boring. Using just a few products and a few minutes of my time I was left with these gorgeous DIY Glittered Clothespins!
DIY Glittered Clothespins
What you need:
- Mod Podge
- Small paint brush
- Gold Glitter
- Plastic or Paper Plate
Grab your clothespin one at a time and cover the top of them with a thin layer of mod podge. Lay out your plate (this will be used to catch the excess glitter) and sprinkle your gold glitter all over the mod podge until fully covered. Carefully tap the excess glitter off onto the plate and lay on a flat surface to dry. Repeat these steps for the remainder of your Clothespins. Fold the plate in half and pour the excess glitter back into your glitter container to be used for next time. Best part of these DIY Glittered Clothespins is they’re great for my family photo display as well as several other Home Decor projects. Enjoy.
We just had our family photos done and I wanted to display them in my home. Since I had some free time on my hands this evening thanks to the glorious California rain I was able to whip up these gorgeous DIY Glittered Clothespins and attach them to a plain piece of twine to display my photos. I was able to purchase all of my family photos in 4 x 6 photos as well as 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 photos to display in my home from my local CVS. Did you know CVS has 1 hour pick up? The quality of the photos are amazing and the hour pick up time is so worth it.
The CVS/pharmacy Mobile app actually has a really cool feature that allows you to print those photos from your camera roll, CVSphoto account or Facebook with a few simple taps of your finger. You can even get convenient, same day pickup at a local CVS.
