I love to add special touches to my home with DIY projects. I’m the type of person that always keeps an empty bottle or empty jar knowing that one day I can do something with it for my home. We had left over drinking bottles from a past party at our home and I had some gorgeous ivory twine lying around so I figured it would be a great time to do a DIY Twine Bottle Home Decor piece for my mantle or desk. It’s time to get creative ladies and gents!
DIY Twine Bottle Home Decor
What you need:
- Empty Glass Bottle
- Elmer’s White Glue
- Soft Jute or Twine (Purchased from Michaels)
Grab your bottle and start adding your glue in squiggles down the top portion of the bottle. Starting at the top of the bottle press down your twine and hold it firmly in place for at least a minute. Now carefully start wrapping your twine around your jar over and over again. Once you come to the end of the glue, take your glue bottle and add another section and keep going with the twine. Do this until the bottle is completely covered then cut with scissors and hold in place til dry. Enjoy.
