Motherhood Can Be Messy

Motherhood Can Be Messy

I’m not going to lie; motherhood can be so messy. I had a new baby back in August and life has been messier than ever. I mean messy in terms of dirty diapers and other crazy things my kids get into. Motherhood might be messy, but there are some ways you can overcome it. Check out my tips for tackling motherhood head on.

#1. You cannot prevent the messiness.

You can try until your face turns blue, but you cannot prevent messiness. It’s crazy, but babies and toddlers know all of the secrets and shortcuts to making messes. You can be stern and put them in their high chair to eat, but somehow they still find the box of cereal and find a way to dump it.

#2. Don’t get worked up over messes.

Just like I said messes will be inevitable, don’t get worked up about the messes. The more worked up you get about the messes your kids make, the more miserable you will be. There will be a day and a time where they can help you clean up. For now, enjoy the messes because your kids will grow up entirely too fast.

#3. Carry Cottonelle FreshCare Flushable Cleansing Cloths with you.

Potty training is especially a messy time in motherhood. Something that I do that has saved my sanity is carrying Cottonelle FreshCare Flushable Cleansing Cloths with me wherever I go. You can use these wipes to ensure those bottoms are thoroughly clean.

Cottonelle FreshCare Flushable Cleansing Cloths are lifesavers when it comes to being a mom of messy children. They are easy to open and reseal, plus you can simply flip the lid for easy dispensing. I also love that these cleansing clothes have Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths feature SafeFlush Technology™, so they start to break down immediately after flushing.
