With my boys getting older it’s getting harder to find them something for the holidays that they will grow with an appreciate and I put a lot of thought into a homemade gift for them. Since my two boys love all super hero characters I figured I could make them so pretty amazing No Sew Fleece Blankets that are big enough to cover a full size bed. Granted they are both in twin beds right now this blanket will provide them with plenty of warmth for the cold nights ahead. This was such an easy project and each blanket took me about an hour from start to finish. This is a great way to catch up on your shows while making a gift that matters. Enjoy.

Supplies Needed:

2 Yards Fleece in any print

2 Yards Fleece in solid Print

Fabric Scissors

Directions:

Lay out your solid fabric on a flat surface such as a table or bed and make sure it is lying flat. Take your printed fleece and lay on top of the solid fabric with the bolder pattern facing out ward and line up as best as possible. Once you have your two fleece fabrics together you will want to cut out 4 corners and I did this by using my ruler and cutting 4 inches by 4 inches on all 4 corners. Once the cuts were complete I started making cuts along each side that were 4 inches and spaced out about 1″ to the next one. Once all your cuts are complete the rest is easy just take the top cut and the bottom cut and do a simple knot all the way around the blanket. That’s it this is a time consuming project but like I mentioned with your favorite TV show this will fly by. I made 3 no fleece sew blankets in 1 evening and my kids are going to love them!! There’s still plenty of time for Christmas gifts!
