Between work, home, and keeping up with social affairs, it is easy to get distracted. By getting distracted I’m finding that I lose my focus throughout the day. When your mind is going a million miles a minute, it can be hard to stay focused and get what you need to get done accomplished. I have 4 kids and I work 2 full time jobs so you can only imagine how busy my lifestyle is but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love being healthy and no matter what gets in my way I love to start my morning off with a few of my favorite things. Though life can be distracting, here are my 4 Ways to Keep Focused daily!
4 Ways to Keep Focused daily
#1 Take a Walk
Taking a walk helps clear your thoughts and gets you refocused. A short, 5-minute walk is all it takes to breathe in the fresh air and release the stresses of the day. Try to take a 5-minute walk at least once if not twice a day. It’s a great time to clear your mind, soak in the task of the day and just get ready to conquer all of your duties.
#2 Take Breaks Every Hour
It’s easy to get into the daily grind, but not taking breaks leads to distraction and lack of productivity. Give yourself a 5-minute break every 45-minutes to an hour to increase your focus and clear your mind. When I have blog posts do, emails to respond to, school picks up and more things get skipped so often that I have to take breaks during my day.
# 3 Exercise Daily
Exercise has been proven to not only relieve the stresses of life, but it aids in keeping your mental mind focused and alert. Regular exercise is a great way to keep your body, mind, and spirit in shape. Take 15-minutes a day to workout. Whether it’s walking around the park while your kids are playing, walking the neighborhood with your neighbors or even parking a bit further away at school pick up.
#4 Drink Lipton Match Green Tea
Lipton Matcha Green tea is made with 100% natural Rainforest Alliance certified tea leaves and Matcha powder which helps you regain your focus. Trade up from your standard green tea and try Lipton’s new Match Green Tea. It is available in three refreshing flavors:
- Pure
- Mint
Customers can find this at your local Walmart. Legend has it that Buddhist monks used Matcha to enhance their focus for long hours of meditation. Also to be alert and present in the moment, so if you really want to focus like the monks, Lipton Matcha Green Tea is worth the switch! Pretty cool right?
