Battling Seasonal Allergies with Ricola

May 9, 2016 by Brittany Leave a Comment

I’m sharing #Ricola in my life as part of a Ricola sponsored series for Socialstars™.

Every year when the weather changes, my kids pay a high price. My kids have seasonal allergies that approach every “season” change. We may live in California but the weather does change. During the spring weather, my family spends a ton of time outside. Which is awesome, but the allergies really creep up. I wanted to share some ways in which we deal with seasonal allergies.

Drink lots of water- It may be simple, but drinking lots of water helps to flush out some of the yuckies in our bodies. It’s amazing how many extra toxins our bodies can carry, so flushing it out only makes sense.

Get a humidifier going- During allergy season, my kids get a cough and the only way to help them is to run a humidifier. It’s so nice to have a humidifier because it keeps the air from getting too dry, which helps alleviate some of the cough my kids experience.

Cough drops- I personally get a scratchy throat whenever allergy season hits, which means I need to be able to deal with it fast. Since I’m pregnant, I can’t use just anything for my allergies, which is why I started using Ricola herb drop. They’re so simple to use can be picked up at your local CVS so just drop it! I’ve noticed that if you suffer from an irritating cough or scratchy throat it can really help. Keep in mind that you’re not alone and 50% of people with seasonal allergies suffer coughs and itchy throats too. Ricola works as an extra step in helping alleviate those allergy symptoms in your throat. The Swiss Herb blend in Ricola really helps, trust me. I don’t think I’ve ever found a natural allergy relief that helps so much.

How do you deal with your seasonal allergies? I’d love to hear your natural allergy relief tips.
