SILK Blackberry Kale Smoothie (Delicious, Healthy and easy)

This year I have focused more on being healthy and I absolutely love fruits and veggies so smoothies are so ideal for me on the go! Nothing tastes more amazing in a smoothie than a delicious cup of Silk Almondmilk which will give any smoothie a fresh taste of almonds that you’ll fall in love with. Silk Almondmilk are made up of non-GMO almonds which are grown in my home state of California. Only the finest almonds are incorporated into this milk and they must be the perfect size, density and cut to ensure a delicious taste with every sip. The process of making Silk Almond milk is simple and involves the almonds being shelled, toasted and ground, than blended with filtered water and ingredients such as vitamins, minerals and natural flavor. Now onto a delicious smoothie recipe I came up with to incorporate Silk Almondmilk for that delicious flavor.

This blackberry kale smoothie is so delicious even my kids loved it and you won’t even taste the kale. Tip: A cup full of Kale can provide your body with 3 grams of protein and is beneficial to your health. Kale is one of the world’s healthiest foods and can help with diabetes, heart disease, cancer, bone health, digestion and healthy skin & hair. This smoothie was easy to make and all the products were purchased from my local Ralphs.

Ingredients needed:

1 Cup Kale

1 Cup Strawberries

5-6 Blackberries

Greek Yogurt (I chose strawberry)

1 Cup Almond Milk

1 Whole Banana

Process:

Gather all your ingredients and toss into a blender. Blend really well to ensure the kale is chopped up nice and finely. Pour into a glass top off with your favorite ingredients and enjoy! It’s refreshing, delicious and healthy for you!
