I don’t know about you, but my newsfeed on social media is filled with political “stuff.” I need a break from it all and thank goodness for Captain Obvious. If you’re not following him on social media, you need to. I love his comments and his culturally relevant commentary.
Instead of watching your friends debate and get fired up about candidates, follow @CaptainObvious on Twitter as he comments on the pageantry of the race through daily updates. You don’t need to keep getting in fights with your fellow friends on Facebook and Twitter, instead follow Captain Obvious and laugh a little.
While a political race is serious, there are a lot of things at stake. You don’t have to be 100% serious all of the time. You can have a little fun. He doesn’t choose sites, tells it like it is, and it’s just all around a good time.
My husband and I have been following Captian Obvious for a while and we get a kick out of him. I’d encourage you to follow him as well. Today’s social media feed can be overwhelming and downright annoying. Turn to @CaptainObvious for fun and facts. Head on over to the Captain Obvious website to numerous pieces of content - 50 state-specific videos, GIFs, and Captain Obvious merchandise.
Now stop fighting with your Facebook and Twitter friends about who is the best candidate and start following Captain Obvious. He has the facts, humor, and satire!
