Pillsbury Makes New Recipes Easy
This year, I am going to try something new with Pillsbury. With all their awesome Sugar Cookie Pre-made Doughs, coming up with a new recipe for the holidays is easy and simple. We all love sugar cookies and we all love Cinnamon Rolls so I wanted to think outside the box and make the most delicious Cinnamon Roll Sugar Cookies. Hands down one of the best things I’ve ever baked in my kitchen!
Cinnamon Roll Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- Pillsbury Pre Packaged Sugar Cookie Dough
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 3 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Cook the Sugar cookies according to the package directions. I baked them for 11 minutes at 350 degrees in my convection oven and that was the perfect amount of time.
- For the frosting in your kitchenaid mixer combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, salt, cinnamon and vanilla extract and mix it together on medium speed for 3 minutes.
- At first it's look crumbly but it will all blend together to a smooth, creamy consistency. Once you start getting peaks on the frosting you know it's ready.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and place on a cooling rack. While you're waiting for them to cool fill your frosting in a piping bag.
- Starting in the middle of the cookie start piping an outward circle.
- Finish off the product with a generous sprinkling of cinnamon sugar!
- Enjoy!
