Crockpot Monkey Bread

Being a busy, full time working mother of 3 has me relying on my Crockpot a lot for lunches, dinners and even desserts. The ease of using the Crockpot is so easy and the outcome of the delicious treats are always so mouth watering. This weekend I had a little free time and decided to whip up this delicious Monkey Bread in the crockpot. How yummy do they look? This recipe is super simple to recreate and it’s so easy you can even let the kids help out. So the next time you offer to bring an appetizer or dessert consider making this easy Monkey Bread that is done in 2 hours from start to finish. Such a delicious treat for the cold weather.

Crockpot Monkey Bread Recipe

Ingredients Used:

  • 2 can Refrigerated Biscuits (8 ct)
  • 2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted Butter Icing (optional)
  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tsp Milk

Directions:

Cut each biscuit into bite size pieces. Combine sugar and cinnamon. coat sides and bottom of slow cooker with some of the melted butter. Dip each biscuit piece in melted butter and then in the sugar mix. Place them in layers in the bottom of the crockpot. Cook on High for 2 hours. Allow them to cool for a few minutes, then transfer to plate. Optionally, you can drizzle with icing by whisking together powdered sugar and milk.
