Best of all you can see exactly what is going into your beauty products. Making this DIY 5 Minute Lip Balm was so easy and I love how it turned out! I’ll be making several more to give away as gifts!
DIY 5 Minute Lip Balm
What you need:
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp grated beeswax
- Chunk of lipstick (any color)
- 1 tsp Joboba oil
- Microwave Safe measuring cup
- Empty EOS containers or Beauty 360 containers from CVS
Grab your measuring cup and drop in your coconut oil and grated beeswax and pop in the microwave for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and give it a quick stir and bring it to a flat surface. While the mixture is cooling down grab a knife and pop the clear divider out of the container and place it on the top lid. Keep the lid on a flat surface. Drop in your lipstick and oil and give it a quick stir until the color is distributed evenly. Now carefully pour your lip balm mixture into the top lid until the clear divider is covered by the liquid lip balm. Place the lid in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow it to harden. Once 30 minutes is up remove from the fridge and pop it onto the bottom of the container. Now open up your lip balm and enjoy you’re brand new DIY 5 Minute Lip Balm!
