Mineral Veil Translucent Powder is a staple in a woman’s makeup routine. This translucent powder keeps your foundation crisp and keeps shine away all day long; only one problem it’s expensive. A little 0.3 oz bottle of Bare Minerals is about $20. So today I’m going to show you how easy it is to create DIY Mineral Veil Translucent Powder.
Whether you wear a full face of makeup daily or very bare amount of makeup, everyone can benefit from mineral veil powder. This keeps your liquid foundation looking fantastic all day long and it keeps the shine away until you wash it off at night. It goes on silky smooth and feels great throughout the day. Best of all the application is so easy. Just dip your favorite poofy brush, tap off the excess and apply to your face. A little goes a long way and this batch will last me months and months. There is absolutely no reason to spend $20 on something that costs $2.00 to whip up.
Products Used:
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1 tbsp Facial Powder (Optional)
Directions:
Grab a small mixing bowl and place your cornstarch and colored powder into the bowl and mix it well. That’s it. Seriously 2 ingredients that take 1 minute to whip up after they were blended well I placed them in an empty powder container for safe keeping. This is now my go to mineral veil translucent powder and it cost under $2.00 to make! Enjoy.
I use 100% pearl powder for my mineral veil. It’s contains vitamins and minerals, covers shine and is fabulous.
