How to Fake a Clean Bathroom
Do you need to make your bathroom look clean when it really isn’t? We all have those times when an unexpected guest comes over, or you need to make your house presentable in little to no time. When you have those moments, here’s how to fake a clean bathroom!
Shut the Shower Curtain
First and foremost, your bathroom always looks cleaner when the shower curtain is closed. Closing your curtain prevents you from having to clean the tub out. You know the hair in the clog, scum on the sides, and the empty shampoo bottles all can be hidden. Since we have little ones in the main bathroom guest use by closing the shower curtain we’re also hiding all the bath toys, wash cloths, soaps and more!
Put Dirty Clothes in the Tub
If you don’t have time to clean your bathroom, you probably don’t have time to do laundry either. Grab all the dirty laundry off the floor and put it in the tub. If you shut the curtain, nobody will know it’s there.
Replace the Toilet Paper
Empty toilet paper rolls can make your bathroom look dirtier than it actually is. Plus, you don’t want to leave guests without toilet paper. Always replace your rolls before company comes over.
Spot Clean the Sinks and Toilet
Clorox or even baby wipes are a life saver when you are in a hurry. Spot clean your sink by wiping it with a wipe. Just wipe the parts people see while leaving the soap and toothbrushes in place. Clean the rim of your toilet and the lid.
Shake the Bath mat
Shake your bath mat out the back door. Bath mats always add an extra layer of cleanliness but can look dingy and dirty throughout the week. Give your mat a good shake and place it where it was.
Hang a Towel
Hang a clean hand towel or bath towel for guests to dry their hands. A clean towel that is neatly folded and placed will make your bathroom look tidier.
