I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for P.A.N. Cornmeal. I received product samples as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
In my home you’ll see me baking on a daily basis. I love to make cookies, cupcakes, cakes and anything else that can be a delicious dessert to consume on a nightly basis. Baking is a great way to spend time with loved ones, spend time with your children as well as relieve some stress. All it takes is a clean kitchen, a delicious recipe and a staple product found in the pantry.
One of the newest products you’ll catch me adding into my desserts is the P.A.N. cornmeal. Cornmeal is a staple ingredient that is making it’s debut in the United States. P.A.N. Cornmeal is already in most homes of Venezuelan homes and it’s the perfect addition to all desserts and cooking dishes.
P.A.N. Cornmeal is the number one cornmeal in South America and you’ll see it being used in cakes, cookies, brownies, pancakes and lots more. This is definitely a must have pantry staple you need in your home. It’s time to get creative and think outside the box or bag in this case. I received a few bags of P.A.N. Cornmeal to whip up a few delicious treats and I couldn’t be anymore excited to show you the delicious Cookie Bowls I whipped up for dessert. These cookie bowls and quick and easy and will really help you explore your taste buds. Want to get inspired by some delicious recipes? Check out P.A.N. Tumblr channel.
Homemade Chocolate Chip Cornmeal Cookie Bowls
Ingredients:
2 Cups P.A.N. Cornmeal
1/2 Cup Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 Cup Melted Butter
1/3 cup Powdered sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups chocolate chips
Grab a medium size mixing bowl and pour in your P.A.N. Cornmeal, flour, baking soda, salt, sugar and eggs and mix together. Next pour in your melted butter, vanilla extract and powdered sugar and mix it all together. Now it’s time to let the kids pour in the chocolate chips, this is my boys favorite part and a whole bag may of been poured into my cookie dough. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and pour your cookie dough into the metal bowls and pop in the oven. Allow the bowls to cook for 10 minutes and than remove from oven and allow to cool. Top off with your favorite ice cream and serve warm. Enjoy.
I absolutely love adding the cornmeal into the base of my cookies because it makes them fluffier and more bulky than your standard thin cookies. These are the best chocolate chip cookies ever!
