Homemade Crockpot Hot Cocoa

A lot of things come to mind when you hear Crockpot cooking, especially dinners and desserts but tonight I’m thinking outside the box. It’s been very cold and rainy in Southern California the last few days and today was a day in with the kids so I decided to whip up a batch of Homemade Hot Cocoa in my Ninja Cooking System. There is nothing more amazing than homemade and my kitchen was filled with the aroma of chocolate which of course is an amazing smell. This is so easy to make for even the beginner in the kitchen and it’s perfect for home parties such as Christmas, birthdays, events and more. With just a few household ingredients you’ll be sipping on Homemade Hot Cocoa in no time.

Homemade Hot Cocoa Recipe

Ingredients:

5 Cups of Cold Milk

2 Cups of Chocolate Chips

1 Can of Sweet Condensed Milk (14 oz)

1-1/2 cups of Cold Heavy Whipping Cream

1 tsp Vanilla

Hot Cocoa

Directions:

Turn on your slow cooker to the low setting and start pouring your ingredients in one by one. You can put your ingredients in the slow cooker in any order and once complete be sure to whisk the ingredients together to make sure they’re blended well. Place the lid on your slow cooker and cook for 2 hours on low. I stirred mine a total of 5 times in that 2 hours to make sure all the ingredients were mixing up nicely. Once your hot cocoa is complete pour it into your favorite mug and top off with some delicious marshmallows, whipped creamed and chocolate. I love to indulge in my nightly cup of hot cocoa and whipped cream and shreds of Chocolate Hershey’s is a huge must for me. I really hope you enjoy this recipe and you will give it a go in your own kitchen for the next time it’s cold outside or you’re entertaining guest inside. If you or your kids are an extreme chocolate lover consider making these chocolate dipped spoons to go with your homemade hot cocoa. Directions below.
