Homemade Peanut Butter

May 5, 2015 by Brittany Leave a Comment

I love making Homemade products in my home because it’s so much more cost effective plus it’s a great time to get the kids involved. I never knew making homemade Peanut Butter would be so easy until I read up on it and tried it for myself. All you need to make a delicious, rich and creamy peanut butter are your favorite peanuts and a food processor. So using just 1 ingredient and 5 minutes of your time you can whip up your very own batch of Homemade Peanut Butter that the kids are going to Love!

Homemade Peanut Butter

What you need:

  • Roasted Dry Peanuts
  • Food Processor (Purchase here)
  • Airtight Glass Container

Place your Food Processor on a flat surface and pour 4 cups worth of Dry Peanuts into the Food Processor. Place the lid on and press the on button. The food processor will do all the work for you, you just watch and enjoy the process with the kids. During the first minute your peanuts will be grind up into a powder, during the minute 2 the peanuts will start to form into a clump, and the minute 3 your peanut butter will start to break down and become creamy. This entire process from start to finish was a total of 3 minutes. Once you’re happy with the creaminess of your peanut butter just spoon it into an airtight container and enjoy. This will stay fresh for up to 2 months in the fridge and pairs nicely with Peanut Butter & Jelly, apples, celery and anything else.
