How I “Free” Myself in Tucson

I can’t believe this Summer already came and went just like that. The kids are back in school, we’re back to work with just the weekends off and spending time as a whole family has been sparse. This Summer we were going to do something fun together as a family and one of the ideas on our list was Tucson. Growing up my dad always talked highly of Tucson since that’s where he was born and raised and it’s always been on my list of places to visit.

Tucson is one of those places you see browsing the internet for top places to visit with your family and I can see why with so much to do. If you’re an outdoorsy person than you’re going to love the mountain ranges everywhere you look, the best sunsets on the planet and of course the hiking, rock climbing and horseback riding. That’s just a few of the things you can expect to enjoy with your loved ones. The horseback riding would be the first thing my kids and I would do, hands down.

Do you enjoy eating delicious food? Of course you do, who doesn’t? Tucson is known for their mexican food and that happens to be one of my favorite cuisines. Tucson has the best and largest concentration of Mexican food North of the border. Do you love tacos, burritos, fajitas, spanish rice? Than you’re going to fall in love with Tucson and never want to leave. This may become more than a vacation spot for you.

While checking out all the Tucson has to offer I fell in love with the concept that you could enjoy this vacation spot alone, with your spouse or with your entire family. There is just so much to do and it’s the perfect spot to unwind and relax. I was able to fall in love with all the photos I saw and videos I watched and I just can’t wait to experience Tucson for myself. Maybe next Summer!
