When we first started having kids, I never imagined how busy we would be! It’s crazy how busy life with three little ones can get. I’ve always made the excuse that we’re too busy to concentrate on eating healthy, but that’s not true. There are ways on How to Eat Healthy When You’re Busy.
Prep Meals
One way I’ve been able to stay on track with healthy eating is by prepping meals. I try to plan a couple of days in advance, so we can have something healthy on hand to eat. It’s really nice to come home and I already have something healthy ready to throw in the oven.
Pack Snacks
I know that whenever I’m super hungry, I’m more likely to make bad decisions. Which is why I have aimed to pack healthy snacks with us. If we’re going somewhere quick, I pack Greek yogurt in my bag with some peanuts. I’ll also pack some fresh fruit for the kids. I can’t tell you how nice it is to know what we’re going to snack on, rather than going through a drive through.
Know How to Curb Your Sweet Tooth
My major downfall is ice cream. I can seriously eat a whole gallon if I’m not careful. I decided to figure out how to make my own ice cream using Fairlife Milk. You can see my last post on how we use products like Simply Orange, Fairlife Milk, and Odwalla Smoothie from Albertsons/Safeway. Using these products, we have been able to lead a much healthier lifestyle.
Check out my recipe for homemade ice cream and enjoy! Also, the next time you’re at an Albertsons or Safeway, make sure you stop and pick up one of these products, Simply Orange, Fairlife Milk, and Odwalla Smoothie, to make healthy eating a whole lot easier for yourself.
Homemade Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream
- 4 Whole Bananas
- 1/2 Cup Fairlife Milk
- 1 Cup Peanut Butter
Grab your bananas and cut them into slices, place in a bag and pop in the freezer for about 2 hours. Once your bananas are frozen grab your large, powerful blender and place the bananas into the blender and blend until the mixture resembles an ice cream consistency. Once you are happy with the ice cream appearance add in your milk and your peanut butter and blend again. Scoop out and enjoy a fresh, oh so easy to make Ice Cream you don’t have to feel guilty about.
