Kid Friendly Colored Noodles

May 13, 2014 by Brittany 1 Comment

Getting kids to eat can be a challenge but when you add in bright, vibrant colors your kids are more likely to eat. Tonight for dinner we made the boys Colored Noodles and they were a hit in our household even the adults ate them. Everyday I go through the constant battle with my 1, 3 and 4 year old trying to get them to eat even the simplest foods and it shouldn’t be so hard. I wish I knew adding a little color to the dish would of helped out because I would of done this years ago. All it takes is a little food coloring and some spaghetti noodles and you’ll have a fantastic kid friendly dish in minutes.

Kid-Friendly Colored Noodles

Ingredients:

  • Spaghetti Noodles
  • Food Coloring (as many colors as you want) - We used 2
  • Boiling Water

Directions:

  1. Fill pots with water (number of pans depends on how many colors you’re using), we used 2 pots and be sure to bring each pot of water to a boil. Add in Food Coloring about 15 drops (1 color per pot) and than add in your noodles. Let noodles cook for 10-12 minutes and once they’re completely cooked, drain the water, serve and Enjoy!
