The day has finally come when we got Kitchen cabinets! We decided to gut our kitchen pretty quickly after moving in, we were ready to say goodbye to the 1970’s that was in our kitchen. The demolition went quickly and smoothly than we realized while working on our custom kitchen that the cabinets can take upward of 6 weeks. Ek! 6 weeks without a kitchen didn’t seem possible but fast forward 4 weeks later and our cabinets were done early, yey! We set up the install date and they came and installed the new Shaker style kitchen cabinets, doors, drawers and island in a total of 2 days. I was in love!
Our custom cabinets were installed and they looked amazing! We choose to do white upper and lower cabinets and a black island to give our new open concept kitchen a bit of contract! It turned out amazing! One thing the cabinets doors and drawers were missing was a great choice of hardware. We put so much time and effort into planning our kitchen and we wanted everything to turn out perfect. We chose a gorgeous Williamsburg Black Mist cabinet pull and it paired so nicely with the white cabinets and the black island. The detailing was gorgeous and the perfect thickness that we love in our home.
