One of my kids favorite things to play with is playdough but the smell that it leaves behind is horrible. This past weekend I decided to whip up a few batches of Homemade Edible Playdough with the help of my kids. It smells amazing, works great and the kids love it even better than the store bought stuff. It’s so easy to make can’t believe I didn’t make it sooner!
Edible Playdough
Ingredients
60 Mini Marshmellows
6 Tablespoons cornstarch
4 teaspoons melted coconut oil
Gel food coloring
Directions
1. Place your marshmallows, melted coconut oil, and cornstarch in a small mixing bowl
2. Place your bowl in the microwave for about 60 seconds until marshmallows are puffy
3. Mix together your ingredients with a spatula
4. Now finish mixing the dough with your hands
5. Separate the dough into thirds and add a drop of food coloring to each and mix by playing with the play dough in your hands
*supervise children while playing, you don’t want them to take too big of a bite if they do eat
*store in an airtight bag
*this will only be good for a couple days
