The Master Bedroom is a place to wind down and relax and should feel very welcoming when you come home after a long day of work or being out with the kids. Keep reading to find out how I did my Master Bedroom Makeover.
I used to come home to a drab bedroom where the accent wall was dark purple, there were no nightstand lamps, the bedding didn’t match, the bench seat cushion was non existent and there were just bare floors. I wanted a Master Bedroom Retreat that I could come home to everyday and enjoy with my husband and my vision turned into a reality and I’m in love. My goal for my Masted Bedroom makeover was bright, crisp and clean. I wanted a glamorous room of crisp white, black and grays that would all compliment each other against my dark brown furniture.
It really was all about out with the old and in with the new. I kept my existing furniture and spruced up my bedroom with a fresh coat of paint, crisp stripes on the accent wall, a bright bench seat cushion, a fantastic patterned rug, crisp white duvet cover with pops of graphite gray colors and some crisp lamps to give me the perfect bedside lighting. A few bonus features in the Master Bedroom are the Casablanca Stealth 54″ Fan that went perfect with this makeover. The crisp White Network Magazine Rack is housing all my favorite Martha Stewart Living Magazines and the matching Network Umbrella Stand was the perfect addition for that awkward corner spacing. Since my bedroom is the biggest room it’s hard to get a straight on angle so I’m providing lots of angles below for you guys. Also a dream of mine has also been to have matching His and Her nightstands and I love how they turned out. I made the His and Her Jewelry Dishes using my Silhouette Machine. Enjoy!
