Becoming a parent is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. I have 3 children in my household and love each and every one of them and wouldn’t trade my life for anything in the world. There are many tips I’d give a first time parent because after 3 children I really know what’s needed.
Tips for New parents:
Always nap when baby is napping
When someone offers to help, allow them to
Always have enough diapers and wipes on hand
Always have a change of clothes for yourself and baby for those first few months.
When I first became a mother in 2009 it was such a joyous time to welcome my son and bring him home, but that joyous time turned to stress in a matter of minutes. After birth while you’re in the hospital the nurses are so helpful and almost do everything from you but the moment you leave you’re on your own and it’s a whole new experience. While baby is napping you try to eat, clean the house, get caught up on things and than baby is awake and you’re wishing you would of napped. On another note with my son and daughter I was unable to produce enough milk to supply my children with what they need so they were formula fed babies and I’m completely happy with my choice. One thing that really helped me out through the first year of being a formula feeding mom was using the Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Machine. The Perfect Prep machine allows you to make the perfect temperature bottle for your baby in under 2 minutes and includes a hot spot that kills any bacteria in the bottle which I loved. Now that my daughter is no longer on formula I’m sad that we won’t be using that product anymore. I hope my tips for a first time parent helped out.
