Paula’s Choice Skincare Routine

This post is written in collaboration with Paula’s Choice and Pretty in my Pocket. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

All moms can probably relate with me on this one, but after you have kids, you focus less and less on you. I’ve decided that it’s time to focus more on me and my skin was the first stop. With increasing skin problems I want to cover up less of my face with makeup and actually focus on fixing the problem (not just covering it up). So I decided to give Paula’s Choice a try and I was hopeful that her skincare products could really help me out.

I’ve heard about Paula Begoun from some of my friends, but I had never used her actual products prior to this. I did a little research on her and wow does she know her beauty stuff. She’s not just someone trying to sell some cheap skincare products, she is totally dedicated to providing the best skincare products on the market. Paula has dealt with acne and eczema as a child, tried multiple products and they didn’t work, so she made it her mission to help others with their skincare issues (and I’m glad she did)!

I’d have to say that I decided to try Paula’s Choice products at a great time. It’s back to school time and I’m ready for a “new me” look! I took the time to do the 10 minute phone consultation with a skin care specialist and I have a combination of oily/dry skin. (Get your own FREE personal skincare consultation by calling this number: 1-800-831-4088) I loved getting real results from a skin care specialist. It really helped me to zone in on my skin problems and not just “guess.” Here are the products I now use on my skin regime after a two week trial period.

· Moisture Boost One Step Face Cleanser- Looking for something that really moisturizes and cleans the face? This is totally it! This is a quick painless way to gently wash away dirt and makeup.
· Moisture Boost Essential Hydrating Toner- I was super excited to use this because I’ve known for years that I have an uneven skin tone. Since using this I can totally see a difference.
· Skin Perfecting 1% BHA Lotion Exfoliant- I’ve always wanted to try a good exfoliant and I feel as though I scored with this one! I love how lightweight this feels on my face. This exfoliant is all about the pore unclogging.
· Hydralight Shine-Free Daily Mineral Complex SPF 30- Yes, I have mom skin, but this lightweight lotion works perfectly under my makeup and has a way of smoothing out my imperfections. I personally love using it under my eyes.
· Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer- I think this was by far one of my favorite products. Since I have dry skin it feels like heaven on my face. And I love that it’s designed to make my skin look younger and younger.
· Resist C15 Super Booster + Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum- I loved that this was a very lightweight serum. I have fairly sensitive skin, so I know it works well on all skin types.
· Resist Weekly Resurfacing Treatment with 10% AHA- Getting my weekly treatment in with this is heavenly!

The Results

I used Paula’s Choice skin care products for two weeks. I noticed my skin wasn’t dry and it didn’t dry out during the day. I also noticed that any random acne that was popping up before, isn’t popping up now. I also know for a fact that using all of the products together really helped my skin heal and look natural again.

As far as the product goes, I’m sold for life. Paula’s Choice offers a 100% Money Back Guarantee (within 60 days), no animal testing and no irritating dyes or fragrances.
