Pay per step with Metromile

With being pregnant, I’ve been trying to get more walking done. As long as I can walk there, I’ve been avoiding driving my vehicle. In California, it can get crazy just walking down the road due to all of the traffic. So, I started looking into walking insurance. With a little research, I was excited to discover that Metromile has introduced Metromile Pace. This is walking insurance for people who drive less and walk more.

Here are some of the reasons I love the new Metromile Pace: It’s an app that you can download on your phone and it’s called Metromile Pace. Keep in mind that several factors will be considered when creating the customer’s unique per-step rate, including broken bone history, clumsiness score and type of walking shoes.

Here’s what you’re covered for in the event that any of the following happens:

  • Being caught in an unexpected rainstorm
  • Losing balance, tripping or falling
  • Worn out socks and shoes
  • Emergency walk-side assistance
  • And more!

I can tell you that my socks and shoes have been worn out more times than you can guess. It’s so nice to have Metromile Pace to replace my shoes and socks. With as many pairs of shoes and socks that I go through every year, it’s nice to have Metromile Pace. It pays for itself!

I always love my discounts, I really love the fact that Metromile offers the safe walker discount for those of us who don’t text and walk. I don’t text and drive, why would I text and walk? Make sure you ask Metromile about this when you call to sign up for Metromile Pace.

APRIL FOOLS

I know I had you going there for a minute. How hilarious would this really be? However, Metromile may not have pay-per-step walking insurance, they do have pay-per-mile. This insurance is available in Washington, Oregon, California, Illinois, New Jersey, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. You can actually check out a review I did on Metromile previously.

Keep in mind that if you drive less than 10,000 miles a year, pay-per-mile insurance from Metro could really be beneficial. Metromile helps customers save on average $500 a year. I know that I could do a lot with $500 a year and so could you!

Head on over to metromile.com and get your quote. With this insurance, you’ll only pay a few cents per mile. Don’t forget about the Metromile Pulse.. The Pulse plugs into the standard OBII port and is used to track mileage and provide car data, such as driving stats, engine health and car location. I love that it’s even been used to recover stolen cars!
