Spiced Chai Scrub Bars

January 26, 2015 by Brittany 7 Comments

One of my all time favorite scents and flavors is Spiced Chai and with the cold days and evenings upon us a hot cup of Spiced Chai is always welcome in my home. It’s not just for consuming it’s also a great pick me up for the shower. Keep reading to find out how to make your own Homemade Spiced Chai Scrub Bars.

Spiced Chai Scrub Bars

I love Spiced Chai and being able to use my very own Homemade Spiced Chai Scrub bars in the shower is a dream come true. These are so easy to make and make the perfect addition to any bathroom and are perfect for gifting. These turned out so beautiful and smell so delicious and are good enough to eat. Seriously you could eat them if you wanted to!

Homemade Spiced Chai Scrub Bars

Ingredients:

3 Tbsp Coconut Oil

2 Packets of Big Train Spiced Chai

Silicone Baking Cups

Directions:

Grab a small glass mixing bowl and pour in scoop in your coconut oil. Place coconut oil in the microwave for 30 seconds to turn it from a solid to a liquid. Once it’s removed give it a quick stir and pour in your two packets of spiced chai tea. Stir the mixture together until it’s completely blended. It will be creamy and shiny and that’s when you know it’s complete. Spoon the mixture into the bottom of your silicone baking cups filling the cups about 1/2 way. Place them in the freezer for about 20 minutes and remove. That’s it. These bars are ready to be used in the shower and will have your skin glowing for hours. Best of all display them in a gorgeous mason jar and give them away as gifts!! This is by far my favorite Homemade beauty recipe yet! Enjoy.

Wondering….how long will these keep? If I want to make up a pile (8 daughters) in advance for Christmas how soon is too soon?

Hi Shannon the best thing about the chai tea bars is that once they are made they can be placed in ziploc baggies and placed in the freezer. Once you’re ready to use them or gift them just take them up and package them up!
