How many of us are on-the-go moms just trying to make it through the day? I decided that I don’t want to just be an on the go that survives, I want to enjoy life. I realized the only successful way I could do this is by prepping as much as possible. By Prepping I am prepared to conquer all obstacles that come in front of me and since we’re always on the go it’s great to have some things handy! Here are some on the go tips for moms all around the world.
Tips for the On the Go Mom
#1. Prep the night before.
Any successful on the go mom knows that she needs to prep the night before. When you save everything for morning, things just get crazy. I need to prep the night before or else I just do not find success the next day!
#2. Don’t overdo the schedule.
Something I have realized is that you can be too on the go. I have decided to make our schedule a little lighter to avoid the whole breakdown things. My kids don’t do well with a heavy schedule anyway. We’re on the go enough, so I try to keep it as light as possible.
#3. Eat right, when possible.
When you’re on the go, it is important to eat as healthy as possible. The healthier I eat, the more focused I can stay on the task at hand. On that note, I also try to drink as much water as possible. This is not always easy, but making it a priority is important.
#4. Pack a to go bag.
Of course, another way to ensure I am doing things right, on the go, I pack a to go bag. This is something I pack the night before, so I can just grab it the next morning, on our way out. This has been a true-life saver for me!
One thing I have to have in my to go bag are Somersaults Sunflower Seed Snacks. I love munching on these on the go (so do my kids)! These are going to be found in my car, my diaper bag, my purse and in my desk at home! Sunflower seeds are a staple in my on the go nutrition because they are dense superfood, packed with protein, fiber, vitamin E, and healthy fats?
Somersaults Sunflower Seed Snacks are a great source of protein, fiber, and healthy fats. Here are some of my favorite reasons to have this yummy snack with me on the go.
- 150 calories
- 5-6 grams of natural plant-based protein (depending on the flavor)
- Less than 3 grams of sugar
- 3 grams of fiber
- Healthy fats (similar to an avocado)
- Somersaults are also good source of vitamin E
You don’t have to worry about nuts or GMO because Somersaults Sunflower Seed Snacks are free of those! However, it is certified vegan, which is awesome. There are four awesome flavors- Sea Salt, Salt & Pepper, Cinnamon and Dutch Cocoa.
