Tips for Being an On The Go Mommy
I don’t think there are many parts of our lives that aren’t on the go. From taking the kids to school to going to extracurricular activities, on the go is our middle name. Since we all know I’m a busy mom of 4 little ones ages 3 months to 6 years I’m always on the go. It’s rare if I get a minute to myself to just sit down and relax. I wanted to share some tips for being an on the go mommy!
Get plenty of rest
Moms, you are not going to do your family any good by skipping out on the sleep. If you’re on the go a lot, you are going to need rest. Try to get to bed early enough at least every other night. You won’t regret trying to get plenty of rest, your bust lifestyle demands it.
Take a deep breath
Try to live for the moment and not about what’s coming up next. If you feel yourself getting overwhelmed with your crazy schedule, take a deep breath. A deep breath can help you feel less stressed and it gives you a second to think about what your next move is.
Ask for help
Being an on the go mommy may come down to you not being able to be in two places at once. Ask for help when you need it. Is asking for help easy? NO! But many times, it’s worth it. I’m a mom of four kids and I will take all the help I can get, no turning away help in this household.
Eat the right stuff
My go to snack is my LÄRABAR. I carry these with me wherever I go. If I’m hungry, I have something quick and easy in my purse. I also like to make this yummy snack mix using a LÄRABAR, you seriously won’t believe how easy it is. I grabbed a few different flavors of LÄRABAR at my local Walmart to stock up on and as soon as I got home I started preparing my on the go snacks. I cut up the Peanut Butter Cookie bars into bite size cubes, toss in a container with some crisp apples and some cheese cubes and it’s the perfect snack for on the go! Delicious and even the kids love it! Point for this crazy, busy mama of 4!
