I don’t know about you, but eating healthy doesn’t need to be boring. I may be pregnant and have cravings, but one thing I have gotten creative with is my salads. I get excited about making the perfect salad and I wanted to share with you how it’s done.
Lots of Toppings
Friends, your salads don’t just need lettuce, they need lots of toppings. Around here, we chop up tomatoes, onions, green onions, purple onions, olives, and anything else the kids are in the mood for. Remember, salads can be exciting with lots of toppings.
A Great Main Dish
Something else that you should know about salads is that they are great paired with an awesome main dish. I actually love to make my salads with chicken! Chicken adds a ton of flavor to the salad and it gives you the protein you need to stay full. Win-win in the healthy eating department.
