Beauty Mavens this post is for you and me of course.  Beauty Box 5 is a subscription service delivering you 5 fantastic products monthly to your door.  It’s basically like Christmas every month because there is nothing more fun than opening up a box of surprise goodies! The monthly boxes cost only $12 which is a steal.  The products included in the boxes can be anything from makeup, hair care products, nail care, skin care, exfoliating products and more. Beauty Box 5 is a great way to learn about new products that you would never see elsewhere and thanks to them I now have a new favorite lip balm from the January box and a favorite makeup base now!

I received the March 2014 box and was so excited to get those babies opened and used!

Tree Hut Shea Body Butter Coconut Lime – Extra thick and paraben free this lotion deep conditions even the driest skins (thank you winter).  The smell of coconut lime is so intoxicating and smells so good you almost want to eat it, plus I’m loving the added natural anti-aging properties included. (Retails for $7.49 – 7 oz)

H20 Plus Hand & Nail Cream – Award winning lotion which is lightweight and non-greasy is perfect for even the roughest hands. This product is perfect for year round use and restores your skin with silk proteins, Vitamin E and marine botanicals. (Retails for $15.00 – 6 oz)

Jane’s Pick All Natural Soaps – I have sensitive skin so I have to be careful on what bar soaps I choose to use.  I was so excited when I saw the Jane’s Pick All Natural soaps because I’ve heard good things about this line.  Getting cleaning without the harmful chemicals is important to me and their infused with herbs and flowers.  Beauty Box 5 tip – Lather up and use this instead of shaving cream and it worked like a charm when I tried. (Retails for $8.00 – 5 oz)

Swissco Dual-sided Facial Pad – Looking to smooth out your skin and give yourself a brighten complexion?  Try out the Dual sided facial pad by pairing it with your favorite cleanser and buffing gently to achieve smoother, more vibrant skin. Although this is a facial pad I found it worked well on my arms and legs to buff off dried skin. (Retails $2.00 – one size)

Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base – My favorite product of the box is by far the Bellapierre Makeup base.  It’s light weight and applies to skin nicely and can be applied without using a mirror.  It’s ivory based and perfect for most skin tones.  It acts as a concealer, illuminator and eyeshadow primer.  Since I’ve been using this product I have thrown away my other 3 items and this is great to throw in my purse and go about my day.  The coverage is light which I love and it pairs so nicely with a light bronzer and a hint of blush.  Throw on your favorite mascara and lipgloss and you have a flawless day look.  This is a much better alternative than heavy makeup in the spring but can also be applied under your normal foundation.  (Retails for $18.99 – 0.29 oz)

My impressions: I loved seeing all these products and with the theme of the box being out with the old, in with the new really hit home for me.  The products were all excellent and did exactly as they said.  I am very pleased with the Beauty Box 5 March review and can’t wait to see the April 2014 box.  Summer will be here before we know it and thanks to winter my skin has been dull and flaky, well now it can be smooth and silky thanks to these amazing products! #Lovebeautybox5
