How to Stay Hydrated This Summer
It’s mid-way through summer and all I can say is that things are hot. California has its fair share of heat, which is why I need to be mindful about keeping myself and kiddos hydrated. Since the kids are out of school we’re on the go all the time. Whether it’s running errands, having lunch with daddy, playing at the park, swimming or sporting events. I always want to make sure I’m prepared before running out the door and these drinks I found have been a life saver.
The BODYARMOR SuperDrink are amazing at satisfying my thirst and I can’t get enough of the delicious flavors. Have you tried them yet?
Drink lots of water
Of course, one of the main ways to stay hydrated, especially in heat is to drink a lot of water. Drinking water helps your body stay hydrated. You should drink plenty of water each day, whether it is hot outside or not.
Take a dip in the pool
We have a pool at home and this makes me happy. Spending time in the pool is a great way to cool off and keep your body at just the right temperature, especially in the hot weather. I love to spend time in the pool and so do my kids.
Spend time in the shade
Your body should drink liquids and you should take measures to cool off. However, you should also spend time in the shade. Spending a long period of time in the sun isn’t good for you, so make sure you spend some time in the shade.
Bring a BODYARMOR drink with you
A little secret of mine, especially in the summer is BODYARMOR. This drink helps provide me with the hydration I need to ensure everyone else in my family is hydrated. It’s a premium sports drink, but doesn’t have any artificial junk in it. I have discovered that it is a much better choice for me, instead of the sugary sports drinks that are on the shelf at the store. I also make sure I pack these drinks for my kids, especially during sporting events. They can stay hydrated and I have peace of mind.
It’s full of awesome stuff, like –
- Potassium-packed electrolytes
- Coconut water
- High in potassium, low in sodium
