Holidays are a great time to spend with those you love. However, there is always a host that is busy getting ready behind the scenes.
Have you been prepping for the holidays? Maybe you’re hosting for the holidays and you’re just not sure where to start. You can make your entertaining go a lot smoother by following these tips.
One thing we love to do when winding down is enjoy a delicious mocktail featuring our favorite lemonade. Paired with some lemon vodka and alot of ice and I’m in pure heaven. It’s refreshing on a hot day and even a cold night relaxing with my husband. You have to try this.
Plan in advanced
Don’t try to throw a last-minute party, take your time and plan. By planning, you won’t be nearly as stressed. Trying to throw a great holiday get together can be hard when it’s last minute, which is why planning in advanced is always a must. I start planning a few weeks before a big holiday get-together. I start planning the menu and the guest list.
Pick and choose
You can’t possibly have a good holiday party if you try and put everything on the table to eat. By picking and choosing what to cook, you can make this whole process way easier on yourself. I like to pick just a few things for serving. One meat, a few sides, salad, and a dessert work great for us.
Shop at Sam’s Club
You know that shopping at Sam’s Club can make your life so much easier, especially when it comes to holiday entertaining. Shopping with Sam’s Club makes the holidays easier because you can pick up everything you need. Holiday entertaining in my home means that Simply Orange® is always on the menu. I like to put together various mocktails and cocktails for our guests. I buy my Simply Orange® or Simply Lemonade® at Sam’s Club.
Now, holiday entertaining is going to be easier than ever now that you have these great tips. Remember that the holidays shouldn’t be stressful, especially when you are the host.
